It’s drawing near!

The Excellence in Communications Award is given each year to an individual who has demonstrated not only leadership, but is accomplished in the Communications field. The history of this prestigious award dates back to 2002, and will continue to promote a person of great merit. The individual’s occupation can range from involvement in radio, television, or even internet communication.

To increase involvement for this specific award, The Cleveland Media Association is encouraging widespread community input for nominations. Certain criteria for nominees must be met to be considered for the award.  This includes a completion of the nomination form, a cover letter, and resume. Also each candidate must have resided in the Bradley County area for five years. Family, church, and community involvement will be considered as well. All nominations are due by November 22nd.

Previous award recipients include; Cameron Fisher, Coordinator of Communication for the Church of God International Offices; Michael Laney, Communication Department Chair at Lee University. To receive nomination form visit @clevmediaassoc or email JCreekmore@clevelandutilities.com.
